- Isaac Albert ENGLEHART married Lizzie FRANK, daughter of Lewis
and Rebecca nee SACHS, in Manhattan in 1883. He died in Queens, New
York, in 1902.
- Carrie Theresa ENGELHART married Abraham M. DRYFOOS from
Durkheim, son of Michael and Sarah nee MAYER, in Manhattan in 1866. She
died in Manhattan in 1919.
- Sarah ENGLEHART married Edward LINDEMAN, son of Moritz and
Laura nee ROSENBAUM, in Manhattan in 1882. She died in Key Largo,
Florida in 1928.
- Allen Joseph ENGLEHART married Martha ROLL, daughter of William
and Johanna, in Manhattan in 1898.
Research Notes
1. In the surname adoptions of 1817, Bonum Maier and Hirsch Maier of
Unterriedenberg took the surname ENGELHARD. There was a connection
between the Jewish community of Unterriedenberg and those of
neighboring Geroda and Gersfeld (link).
