TEOMIM (תאומים)

• Meshulam Zalman TEOMIM "Zalman MUNK" married Dwerl POHELITZ, daughter of Jakob, and had children: Aron, Jakob, and Mirl. Meshulam Zalman died in Wien in 1621.
• Aron TEOMIM died in 1620.
• Jakob TEOMIM married Bela. After she died in 1610, Jakob married Slava BACHARACH of Worms, daughter of Samuel. Jakob died in 1617 followed by Slava in 1621.
• Mirl TEOMIM married Kopel HELLER WALLERSTEIN and died in 1639.
• Samuel Phöbus TEOMIM "Veit MUNK", leader in Wien, married Gertraut and had children: Nathan Veitel, Vögele, Resl, Simon, Batsheva, and Nechama. After Veit died in Wien in 1616, Gertraud obtained her own Hofjude status in 1620.
• Nathan Veitel TEOMIM died around 1630.
• Vögele TEOMIM married Abraham OETTINGEN "RIES", Court Jew in Wien and adviser to Kaiser Ferdinand II, and had children: Samuel Phöbus, Binla, Mordechai Model, Hirz, Elia, Hilda Chana, and Mordechai. Abraham died in Wien in 1637.
• Resl TEOMIM married Aron MAOR-KATAN "LUCERNA", a doctor, son of Moses and Kele nee TEOMIM, and had a daughter, Miriam.
• Simon TEOMIM had a son, Moses, and died in Wien in 1650.
• Moses TEOMIM had a son, Josef, and died in Wien in 1639.
• Batsheva TEOMIM married Itzhak WALFUS, son of Abraham. Their divorce proceedings in 1611, known as the "Get of Vienna", was a famous halachic dispute that involved many of the most renowned Talmudic scholars of the time. 16-year old Itzhak from Lviv fell deathly ill (שכיב מרע) and Batsheva's family requested that he provide a get (divorce) to his wife in order to avoid, in the case of his death, the difficult circumstance of her being an agunah and requiring a chalitza. If he survived it was understood that he would marry her a second time. Itzhak recovered, but Batsheva's family informed him that she would not return to him. A major rabbinical dispute ensued as to the validity of the get.
  
• Nechama TEOMIM married Michael SCHLESINGER, son of Aron. After Michael died in 1619,⁴ Nechama married Abraham FLESCH. Abraham died in Wien in 1640 followed by Nechama in 1666.⁵
• Jacob TEOMIM, leader in Prague, married Miriam MICHELS, daughter of Izchak, and had children: Aron, Meir, and Israel. Jacob died in Prague in 1627.
• Aron TEOMIM died in 1632.
• Meir TEOMIM died in 1634.
• Israel TEOMIM died in 1663.
• Jesaja TEOMIM had children: Chaim Jona, Manes, and Elkel. Jesaja died in Prague in about 1638.
• Chaim Jona TEOMIM was Rabbi in Grodno, Pinsk, and Metz, and married Bele WAHL KATZENELLENBOGEN, daughter of Meir, son of Saul, and had children, including: Izhak Meir and Joshua Feibel. He wrote קיקיון דיונה, published posthumously by his sons in 1669.
• Itzhak Meir TEOMIM publised עין יעקב in 1741.
• Joshua Feibel TEOMIM had a son, Aryeh Leib (who wrote אילת אהבים, published in 1802)
• Gitel TEOMIM married Chaim BRANDEIS and had a daughter, Nechama. Gitel died in Prague in 1600.
• Edel TEOMIM married Aaron MALKES and had a daughter, Miriam Malke (married Isserl LIPSCHITZ and then Salomon FISCHHOF-AUERBACH). Edel died in Prague in 1620.
• Kela TEOMIM married Moses MAOR-KATAN "LUCERNA" and had children: Miriam, Löb, and Aaron. Kele died in Wien in about 1615. 
• Esther TEOMIM married Mordechai Israel LIPSCHITZ, Rabbi of Kollin and son of Elia, and had a son: Isserl. Mordechai died in Prague in 1626 followed by Esther in 1635.
• Nechla TEOMIM married Moses Aron ASHKENAZI, son of Samuel, and had a daughter: Rechel (who married Yom Tov Lippman HELLER) . Nechla died in Prague in 1601 followed by Moses Aron in 1620.
