Meyer Chajes [1]

• Leibisch CHAJES married Ester LÖWENWIRTH (1832), daughter of Samuel Leib and Mircie. Ester died in Skole in 1902 followed by Leibisch in 1905.
• Lea CHAJES married Isak TAMBOR and had children: Chaje (1876), Ruchel (1878), Wolf (1880), Abraham Juda (1883), and Hencie (1885). Lea died in Skole in 1890.
• Chaje TAMBOR died as a child in Skole in 1880.
• Ruchel TAMBOR married Aron LÖW, son of Mendel and Sime nee LAUFER, in Skole in 1909.
• Abraham Juda TAMBOR married Gittel SCHIMMERMANN, daughter of Chaim Wigdor and Frimet nee BRAUNER, in Skole in 1909 and had children: Chaim Wigdor (1910).
• Hencie TAMBOR married Gedale Mechel "Alter" JAMPEL, son of Eisig and Chaje Lea nee HALPERN, in Skole in 1910.
• Hinde Mariam CHAJES married Samuel Jona FREILICH, son of Feiwel and Ronie, in Skole in 1890 and had children: Abraham Juda (1878).
• Chane CHAJES married Srul FREIMAN and had children: Dawid (1877), Samuel Moses (1879), Abraham Isaak (1882), Reisel (1886), Chaje Pesel (1890), Lea (1892), Perel (1893), Osias (1895), and Sender (1897). Chane died in Skole in 1905.
• Hersch CHAJES married Lea TISCHENKEL, daughter of Chaim Simche and Chane nee LÖWENWITH, in Skole in 1908 and had children: Dawid (1874), Samuel Leib (1878), Perl (1882), Isak (1883), Chana (1885), Golde (1889), Sosie (1891), and Jossel Mortko (1895).
• Majer CHAJES married Chane HALPERN, daughter of Leib and Scheindel nee ROSENBAUM, and had children: Mariam (1884), Henech (1887), Mircze (1889), Taube (1891), Ruchel (1893), Perl (1895), Sime (1898), Scheindel (1901), Esther (1907), and Nechemie Ber (1908). Majer immigrated to the United States in 1912, followed by Chane and most of the children in 1913. The family lived first in New York and then Cleveland. In the United States, the family used the mother's surname. Meyer died in Cleveland in 1934.
• Golde CHAJES married Zeinwel WILF and had children: Dawid Wigdor (1880).
• Sara CHAJES married Samuel Moses SCHIFF and had children: Perl (1885), Dawid (1889), Lea (1891), Dwore Golde (1893), Libe Riwe (1895), Sosie Beile (1898), stillborn (1902), and Getzel Hersch (1903).
