Moses FEUCHTBAUM (born 1752 in Husaków), son of Sacharye Mendel and Sisel, married Beile and had children: Feige (1779) and, likely, Gitel and Josel (1763). Moses died in Mościska in 1830.

Josel FEUCHTBAUM married Scheindel ALTMAN from Krukienice, daughter of Chaim and Rose, had at least two children in Krukienice: Israel and Esriel. Scheindel died in Mosciska in 1837 followed by Josel in Rudniki in 1849.

Israel FEUCHTBAUM and his wife Bine AST from Przemysl, daughter of David and Lea Ettel nee ORANSCH, had children: Beile Breindel (1833), Moses Mendel (1835), Moses/Selig (1838), Chaim (1841), Anschel (1845), Scheindel (1849), Abraham (1854), and Simon (1856). Israel likely died in 1890.¹

Beile Brendel FEUCHTBAUM married Elias SCHEUER, son of Berl and Scheindel, and had children: Osias (1853), Isaak (1855), Lea Ettel, Abraham Marcus (1861), Judes (1864), Aron (1866), Moses (1868), Brandel (1869), Feige (1871), Berisz (1874), and Benjamin Wolf (1878).
Moses Mendel FEUCHTBAUM married Sara Ettel FORST from Sułkowszczyzna, daughter of Marcus and Rele nee LANZ, and had children: Joseph Hersch (1861), Baruch Marcus (1863), Nissen Dawid (1865), Scheindel Beile (1866), Lea (1868), Rosa (1869), Machla (1872), Feige Rele (1874), and Chaim Nachman (1877), and Malie (1880). Moses Mendel died in 1884.

Salomon FEUCHTBAUM, a photographer, married Pessel Gittel "Josephine" SINGER from Mosciska, daughter of Fischel and Lea nee FREUND, and lived in Vienna, Austria. He and his wife died in the Holocaust.
Anschel FEUCHTBAUM married Ryfka KLEINES and had children: Toska (1935). He died in Austria in 1965.

Toska FEUCHTBAUM and her mother were deported to Izbica in 1942 and died in the Holocaust.

Moses Chaim FEUCHTBAUM, tavern keeper, married Sara Cypre KRUG from Bonów, daughter of Pinkas and Chana nee PROBST, in Mosciska in 1893 and had children: Scheindel Breindel (1853), Aba (1858), Hersch (1861), Josef (1862), Lea (1864), Solomon (1873), Schmil Elias (1876), and Hencia (1878). He died in Sułkowszczyzna in 1907 followed by Sara in 1922.

Scheindel Breindel FEUCHTBAUM married Hersch Nuta FUSS, son of Joel and Feige, in Starzawa in 1891 and had children: Pinkas (1877), Berisch (1878), Sender (1879), Ryfke (1882), Chaya (1883), Sara Pesyl (1886), Freude (1889), and Ruchel (1891). She died in Starzawa in 1902.
Aba FEUCHTBAUM married Gittel BREITBART, daughter of Leibisch and Blume, in Mosciska in 1908 and had children: Hirsch (1889), Israel (1891), Zlate (1893), and Ruchel (1895). He died in Sułkowszczyzna in 1921.

Israel FEUCHTBAUM married Süssla BRAWER from Jablonka Nizna, daughter of Markus Chil and Rechel, in 1914 and had children: Mojżesz Chaim (1910), Rechla (1911), and Mendel (1913).

Mendel FEUCHTBAUM was first married and had a son in Poland prior to World War II. During the war, Mendel was taken prisoner and drafted into the Russian Army, while both his wife and son died in the Holocaust. Mendel immigrated to the United States in 1947 and lived in Woodbridge, New Jersey, where he married Bertha FEUCHTBAUM, daughter of Salomon and Brucha nee NEISS. He died in Lakewood, New Jersey, in 2004.

Zlate FEUCHTBAUM married Markus EISENHÄNDLER and had children: Mojżesz Chaim (1912), Perla (1913), Hirsch (1916), Feiga Henia "Fani" (1918), and Dora (1921).
Ruchel FEUCHTBAUM immigrated to the United States and died in Newark, New Jersey, in 1981.

Salomon Feuchtbaum

Solomon FEUCHTBAUM married Brucha NEISS, daughter of Mendel and Feiga, and had children: Mendel (1899) and Bertha (1902). After immigrating to the United States in 1902, they had children: Fannie (1905) and Anna (1907) in New York. They then moved to Woodbridge, New Jersey, and had children: Maurice (1909), Freda (1911), Helen (1913), and Sylvia (1922). Salomon died in Miami Beach, Florida in 1941.

Mendel "Benjamin Nathan" FEUCHTBAUM remained single and died in Edison, New Jersey, in 1989.
Bertha FEUCHTBAUM married Alexander Joseph GEREK, son of Alexander and Clara nee VITEZ, in Richmond, New York, in 1926. She later married Mendel FEUCHTBAUM, son of Israel and Sofia nee KOHL, and died in Brick, New Jersey, in 1995.
Fannie FEUCHTBAUM died in Woodbridge in 1952.
Anna FEUCHTBAUM died in Edison in 1978.
Maurice FEUCHTBAUM married Edith KASMAN and had children, including: Robert Bernard (1930) and Donald (1937). Maurice died in 1971.

Research Notes

1. Israel's son Simon had a son, Salomon born on 27 July 1890, and his next son, Israel, was born in 1892. Since the father's father had naming priority, Israel was very likely still alive at the time of Salomon's birth, which establishes a lower bound for his death. The older Israel's son, Abraham, had a son Israel born on 16 January 1891. Since Ashkenazi Jews are not named after living relatives, the elder Israel was surely deceased by this date, which establishes an upper bound. Therefore, we can assume with high confidence, that the elder Israel died during the 6 month interval between these two dates, likely in late 1890.
