Aaron LOWENTRITT, from Schöningen, immigrated to the United States in
1837, and settled in Cleveland.
He married Sophia HOFFMAN, daughter of Simson and Sara, in Cleveland in 1840 and had
children: Myer (1843) and Bernard (1848). After the presumed death of
Sophia, Aaron married Hannah KAUFMAN and had children: Rosa (1854),
Sarah (1856), and Ellen (1858). He was a director of the Cleveland
Firemen's General Association from Hose Company No. 1 [1]. Aron later moved to Milwaukee, where he died in 1865.
- Myer LOWENTRITT married Rachel FREY from Ohio, in Titusville in
1878 and had children: Arthur, Helen, and Florence. He died in Oil City
in 1899.
- Bernard "Barney" LOWENTRITT died a widow in Cleveland in 1917.
- Rosa LOWENTRITT married Moses HALLE from Willmars, son of Loeb and Fannie, in Milwaukee in 1874. She died in Cleveland in 1922.
- Ella LOWENTRITT married GUGGENHEIM and died in Cleveland in 1950.
