LEVI
Herz LEVI (c. 1740), a Schutzjude
(protected Jew) in Dörnbach,
married Fradchen and had
children: Perez (1759), Herz (1763), and, likely, Lena (c.
1770). Herz (the elder) and Fradchen were both deceased by 1802.
- Perez LEVI married Sare Herz from Imsbach, daughter of
Abraham Herz, in Rockenhausen in 1802.
- Herz LEVI, as a widower, married Reichel
Raphael, widowed wife of Gabriel Nathan (BECKER) and daughter
of Raphael Manasses
and Goele Salomon, in Dörnbach in
1801. Reichel died in 1806. In 1809, Herz changed his name to David
LEVI. In 1810, again as a widower, he married Elizabeth LAHM of
Wendelsheim, daughter of Hersch Moses and Beile Isaak.
- Lena LEVI had a daughter, Edel (1799).
- Edel LEVI married David MÜLLER from Windesheim, son of Joseph and Sara Karolin Löb, in Dörnbach in 1820.
