Sigmund Bergenthal

Eisig BIRKENTHAL married Rivka GARFEIN and had two sons, Zuskind (1903)
and Jacob (1908), in Chyrow, Galicia. In 1910, Eisig immigrated to
America and later died in Manhattan, New York, in 1947.
- Zuskind BIRKENTHAL immigrated to America in 1921 and
changed his name to Sigmund BERGENTHAL. In 1925 in Manhattan, New York,
he married his first wife, a woman named Sylvia. After an assumed
divorce, he married Estera PRYZANT,
daughter of Israel Josef and Tema
nee GRAJCAR,
in Manhattan in 1931, and had children, including: Ruth (1932). Sigmund died in Brooklyn in 1987.
- Ruth BERGENTHAL married Arthur BAUMGARTEN (1931). Arthur died in 2016 followed by Ruth in 2018.
- Jacob BIRKENTHAL appears to have remained in Europe.
